FACT Lehigh Valley: Fighting AIDS Continuously Together

Fact LV

This week, First Generation was honored to make our tenth $1,000 donation through the “12 Weeks of Christmas” program to FACT Lehigh Valley. FACT (Fighting AIDS Continuously Together) is a non-profit organization committed to raising money to assist individuals and families affected by HIV, the virus that causes AIDS. FACT is devoted to conquering the HIV/AIDS crisis within the Lehigh Valley and surrounding communities.

Fact Lehigh ValleyFor 28 years, FACT Lehigh Valley has been identifying, supporting and monitoring programs that provide direct and educational services for the community. An all-volunteer organization, FACT has since raised over $2 million for the emergency needs of Greater Lehigh Valley residents affected by HIV/AIDS. FACT and its chapter, FACT Bucks County, are the only all-volunteer HIV/AIDS fundraising organizations in the Greater Lehigh and Bucks county region.

Supporting HIV/AIDS education is one of FACT’s most important missions. Education is an ongoing process because as a new generation of people become adults, it is imperative they learn how to protect themselves from infection. On their website, FACT strives to educate the public on HIV/AIDS prevention to combat the increasing number of new HIV infections each year.

First Generation is proud to support FACT Lehigh Valley, and we commend them for their dedication to conquering the HIV/AIDS crisis in our community. For more information on how you too can support FACT and their mission, please visit the links below.
